hi guys, glad to find this forum!

after years of cycling (MTB, roadbike, folding bike...) recently i am attracted by retro style beach cruiser, and ultimately want to build one motorized. here in china there are lots of kits ready to turn any bike into motorbike, mainly electrical. hope my project will be realized soon.

Welcome to the forum. We're pleased to have an international membership. Having a member from China, the source for many of our bike engines, kits and accessories is interesting. Perhaps you could visit one of the assembly facilities and show us through photos or video where our engines and parts come from and how they're assembled.
I'm sure others would be interested.

I'm curious. We've been told that motorized bicycles are illegal in China. Could you verify or negate that claim?
