Hello from New York

My name's Chuck and I'm from NY, one of the states where MBs are completely illegal. That's the bad part. The good part is that I live on the NY/CT border and it's just 3 miles to Connecticut where MBs are totally legal.

I just completed my first build, a used no-name beach cruiser frame with a Grubee 66cc kit from Piston Bikes. I followed many of the tips on this site when building the bike and I am very grateful for them.

Motorized bike kits existed back in the 1950s and I've wanted one since I first saw one as a kid.

I like'd to get in touch with other MBers in the NY/CT area--Brewster-Patterson-Pawling, Danbury-New Milford-Kent.

Hey Chuck,
Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll find other outlaw motorbicycle riders in your neck of the woods. You might want to sign yourself up to the forum member map to see if someone here is near you. It's a lot of fun to get together with other bike guys.
