I have a 1982 Schwinn cruiser 5 fork,with not enough threads.Has anyone added threads to a schwinn fork?? Is this something a bike shop would do?Any info... like die/thread size or what ever would be great.
I bought a 1'' - 24 thread die years ago and have threaded many fork tubes. A good adjustable die will cost around $60, so unless you aim to use it a few times, it may not be worth it to you.
