Harley 1915 Boardtracker

It's too bad that no one is making a modern engine that looks like one of the originals that is affordable. If anyone here has access to a foundry or a machine shop... get to it already. I will be the first inline to volunteer to design the exterior of the engine.

Sometimes I get an idea when I see something...

exhaust pipes............I have found out if you use an angle grinder with a disc-wire-brush-unit you can get a chrome-like finish with standard steel, and than I added a clearcoat to protect the steel from rust. Off course this does not work with hot exhaust pipes because the clearcoat will burn off...

Hi Axel

really sensational !!!!

is there an opportunity to build your prop bikes and sell them to stores as an attention getting window dressing or???

here in la and around the usa such bikes and attention grabbers have been very popular
I recently saw an older velocette in the window of a shoe store on valencia street a hip boutique and other interesting stores -pedal bikes venture--coffee cafe developing area of san francisco

I already thought about something like this, we have stores with dressed up windows too, old Vespas, bicycles, Harleys, old gas pumps...
But I don't build them for selling or business reasons, it is just a hobby, it keeps me relaxed in my spare time when I work on them. But thanks for the idea and your interest.

I would like to share new pics with you, outside in the sun yesterday, as snow is disappearing now...
It is just a peddler, no engine function, but may be you like it
