Gas and electric

yup, did a trike that way a few years ago
used the hub for launch, then engaged the 32 tooth when going fast enough
was a fast bike, but too complicated for it's owner so we pulled the 70 and she still uses it as electic only

it sounds like a cool set up....do u have any pics? and do u know if it is for sale by any chance?

the details are on another site that I don't like to send people to
I will send the link in pm if you still want it
it was built by my son-in-law (azvinnie) and myself for his mom :)

ps...with 4 batts and front hub, it weighs a lot so shipping would be crazy$$$, if she even wanted to sell

Here is a pic of a bike with motor and electric hub.

That is a 1000W Phoenix hub and I believe he said he gets about 20-25miles on just electric power. The bike weighs a ton! But I had the chance to ride it and man just with the hub that thing would get up and go.

A customer of mine had me complete one for him; It's a mountain bike with a 4-stroke & a electric front hub with the batteries on a rear rack.
It's the heaviest, most awkward thing I have ever ridden! He also removed the pedals for some reason... :-{

I'll take a pic of it the next time I do a oil change for him.

Here is two trikes with both gasoline and ehub power.............
