Hi I'm a 60 year old ,retired kid that builds a few custom bicycle frames. Everybody keeps saying stick a motor on one. I bought a 3 1/2 hp tecumseh edger at a garage sale yesterday for $20. Figured I would try my hand at a motorized build. I have read alot and right now I'm suffering from reading overload. I know there will be a lot of mistakes a long the way , because from reading everything it looks like there are an infinite amount of choices to get to the same place. Wanted to build a frame and stick one of the 110cc honda motors I have, on it and be done , but they really seem too wide. So thats where I am right now....a million questions and a head full of undigested information. Like the forum.

So far its been a real learning experience. Gonna take a while to digest all the information . Thanks for the welcome

Hello PureTexan and wellcome to the forum 3/2 hp Tech???? wow sou7ds nice but I heard that they are now out buisness too bad its a good motor and Parts are widely available everywhere!!

If ur thinkin about 100cc, u should just build a motoercycle

I just have one sitting there that is brand new, and I hate to waste things. I will probably do a bike with the tecumseh motor. Its not doing anything either.
