Earlier this week my frame busted in the back where the seat stay connects to the rear dropout on my way home from work. What is a good budget frame so I can get my bike back up and running. Its my main transportation to and from work. I was thinking about buying a frame from bike-berry that has the gas tank built in because I would think the joints are a lot better then any bike not manufactured to be motorized and if I did buy it, what forks should I get for it. I would like to keep everything kind of low but my total budget is prob around $300.

I was going to purchase this chain tensioner and rear hub mount as well before this happened so this might be a good chance to ask if they are good.

I already purchased a rear tire from them in the past and it has worked out pretty nicely (have had for 3 months).

Sorry if it seems like I am jamming a lot of questions and stuff into 1 thread but I thought it would be easier this way. I honestly don't know enough about bikes to be confident in purchases with out a 2nd opinion. I use it as my daily driver to work so if it costs a little bit more but will make it last longer and be more reliable then it is worth it for me.

Thank you for your help

What a bummer. Thats was a good looking frame.
IMHO, look for a pre-2000 year steel frame. Doesn't matter if its Schwinn, Sears, Murray, Western Flyer, etc.
-Except for the Schwinn, they are all cheap too.
