four stroke engine mount question.

So...

I know a few folks dont like the demon engines with their hoot gearbox, i am going to swap the chain with the down home american made chain soon. but for some reason i dont know if i should have the mounting plate at a exact horizontal mount with the ground or if i can get away with slightly leaning more forward in order to have enough clearance for my air-box. Will this effect or alter the angel with the chain? or can i get away with this?

I have seen Briggs motors mounted at an angle with good results. They still oil OK. The carburator needs to be fairly level.

Make sure you watch the angle you pullstart, the rope likes to eat through the housing on these motors lol

i realized this... after i upgrade to a cvt ill be fabricating a metal fairing over the engine/ possibly copper. and figure a way for electric starting/kick bar like real bikes!
