Funny enough a Canadian forum pal mentioned this mag some months ago - no haven't seen it. We used to get "Iron Horse" some years ago.

You sure have been quit DD make any progress lately on that Mean Green Machine that you'd like to share?

Hi truckd....You just have to PM me if I dont post.....I've had to make a steering stop for the forks...I dont want the fork tubes to damage the tank faces...I could have moved the tanks back 3" ..but I think it would have changed the stance of the bike to much....so its taken a day or so to work out the best method for the fork stops....finished up with two 1/4" pins in the top of the fork frame and a V type stop welded to the lower steering stem...a little bit of trial and error to get the correct distance......DD

Hi..The next little job was to weld a tube guide on the fork blade for the front brake cable...better than it flapping around and using tape to hold it in place...DD

Didn't have much of a chance to comment on your work earlier so let me tell you ever thing looks fantastic!! and just when I think there is nothing you can do to amaze us you do! No! Pun........ FANTASTIC WORK DD!

Hi..... Today I started to assemble the bike for the final fit out before finish paint is applied....have to make sure every thing fits correctly and is functional....there is still along way to go before I can call it finished....but I'm slowly getting there...the black etch doesn't do it any favors to look at and probally a little hard to see some features...DD

Man you really know how to make a grown man cry, actually the Matte Black looks cool but the real Excelsior Green is the Bomb!
WOW! and WOW! again

Ahhhhh! is it going to have a rear fender? that thing is Sinister looking DD I hope you have some sticky coated gloves.

Hi ......truckd...I have welded 2 tabs on the rear forks so something can stop my a*# slipping of the seat...it would be a bolt on when I was to ride it ..otherwise it just stays like that...have a look at the BigX's.... I'll bet there were a few back pockets ripped out of pants back then!!!!!!! Heres another pic..DD

Just my opinion but I think a half rear fender would look cool and since it was a rider preference (with or with out) it won't subract or add to something that was or wasn't there (hope that made sence)

Hi...truckd.....I Will jump that hurdel....after Ive had a ride...if the family jewels are in danger I will think about it.....DD
