This is a recent English construction which has had an accident that injured the rider. Make sure your fixtures and fittings are man enough for the job.

Heard some bad news today! the sort that thankfully we don't hear that often. Joe was riding with us Saturday on the BLDR event and was out with the Wirral Wobblers Sunday when something occurred with the bike and Joe had a nasty off. (lifted this from another group) " Hi all, Joe is in Arrowe Park Hospital, ward 20. He has a broken right shoulder and 5 broken ribs. He's in good spirits although wearing a neck brace. He's due another scan shortly" Get well soon Joseph Thomas Swaine]]
The bicycle is Raleigh, the transmission is modified Mobylette, and the engine was a 50cc Trojan Minimotor, but it's been opened out to 75cc.
There were no details with this, but the motor unit is the BSA Winged Wheel. It's possible the whole bike was a BSA construction, although the forks could equally be aftermarket parts.
WOW! Had the same motor, clutch, and tank on a Monark bike when i was a kid, it was awesome fun. My tank was chrome with tool box on other side, clutch had several disks in it.............Curt
The Trojan Mini Motor was made in Croydon, UK. It drove the back tyre direct. The owner, seated on the bike, tired of replacing tired tyres so he adapted it, as seen, to chain drive.
