engine wiring w/ kill switch

The engine has Black, Blue, and Yellow wires coming out of it. The Coil pack has Black and Blue. The kill switch,(I am assuming this is what it is), up on the throttle has Green and Black/White. How does this hook up? Do I assume color for color? Don't want to burn anything up.

Normally there are 2 wires on each the same color. But all the kill switch does is short to ground. So it will work or not. If it doesn't try another wire. It's actually not the best thing for the system so I try not to use them but have it hooked up
 
Wire black to black with one of the wires from the kill switch, blue to blue with the other kill switch wire, insulate the yellow wire to keep it from grounding and you’re done.
