Hello,i have my motorized 66cc bicycle for 4months now and today i have a problem. When i release the throtle the engines goes to die.It doesn't idle.
Why???
I have the 66cc chinese engine with standard carb.I screw the idle screw that the carb has but nothing happens. The engine dies. Why???
What i must check??
Thanks a lot.

You have to screw it counter-clockwise if it isn't idling. I had to unscrew mine mostly out to get it to regularly idle, and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

You want to turn the screw in clockwise. This actually raises the slide in the carb which allows more air/fuel to enter the engine.

Petrol is not a cleaner. It is a fuel.
To clean electrical parts, 100% Alcohol from a hardware store is good if you cannot find electrical contact cleaner.
Double check your wiring. Also, if you are using the factory plug in connectors, cut them off and throw them away. They are junk and cause alot of problems for many folks.
The wires connections need to be soldered and sealed with heat shrink tubing or electrical tape. Heat shrink tubing being greatly preferred.
