You can do it Charlie Brown! With all the great stuff people build here on MB.com, wheels should be no problem for you guys/gals. If you are a bit mechanically inclined building a wheel can be done. My first front wheel took me 3 times to complete. MP3 was super easy because of the radial lace pattern. Most hubs motors only really need 1 cross and that's real simple too. Its the 3cross that starts to get a bit busy. It gets easier the more you do, just like most things. Take your time don't rush it, evenly tighten the nipples, count the turns. I go 3 turns. Have an example on hand. Not to sure its any cheaper, at least for me. I like to use somewhat good quality parts. Butted spokes are $1.00 each and double wall rims are $30-$70 or more, plus the motor/hub used. Spinningmagnets started a thread on ES for building wheels. http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=64324 SB I thought you got super powers from a lightning strike to the head. If you could channel that power into the hub.... J/K. wow SB lucky to be alive!
