Dyno Roadster with a honda crf50 engine

awesome looking ride. do you thing there is any way you could rotate your intake manifold 180 degrees to point it forward? that way you lose the bends and its a straighter shot.
 
I'm curios, do you know for sure if the "ram air" intake does anything? is it a value added mod? ive seen a few guys doing this with various funnels, tubes, etc..but yours looks promising. my thought is that it would be very difficult to design. or rather, it would have to be a precision designed manifold. If one simply uses a funnel-into-tube (like i've seen some guys do) the result would be not an increase in CFM, but a decrease due to the "toilet bowl effect"; a swirling eddie of air at the narrowing, without a properly calibrated volume reduction. How does yours perform with and without?
 
Could you post some close up pics of the front forks? I'm trying to figure out how to make some bushings so I can stretch my ride out a bit.
