doesnt run with muffler cap

hey guys i got a gt5 motorized bike kit a while ago, and it runs fine without the muffler cap although its very loud, when i try the muffler cap there's not enough power to push the bike and it doesnt idle or anything, any tips

It sounds like the jet is too big or loose, have you removed the bowl to check the jet? I've had the jet back out before.

Just run it without the cap...

That makes sense I'm at a very high elevation and I order a big pack of jets so that works, and I have been running with out the cap I love it my neighbors don't tho ,
