Debut of 'The Flying Molestrangler'

This fine machine is 'The Flying Molestrangler' which was constructed by my alter ego Horice G Molestrangler to ride 150 miles from east - west over the Southern Alps of New Zealand.

Team Molestranglet is still in the development phase, fettling the 'big block' 70cc engine. Reliabilty has been much improved by attaching Pratt and Whitney transfers to the engine. The lightweight exhaust system was constructed in part with the help of a section of Boeing fuel transfer line found resting in an outdoor storage facility, commonly known as a skip.

A further performace enhancement will be the addition of a handlebar moustache, which Horice is currently working on and should be in place above his top lip for the big day on May the 26th.

Re: bedut of 'The Flying Molestrangler'

Looking at the heading, it seems I can't spell the word 'Debut'. I blame my friend James Beam for that!

It also appears that my pics haven't appeared, however if you go to my posting 'Hi from the deep deep south'in the new members/introduce yourself postings, you'll see it there.

Here ya go! Nice build! Is that real engine turning on the tank?

Cheers, and yes it is engine turned.. I did it myself on a drill press with a scotcbrite pad onto 0020" aluminium, then bonded it onto the side of the tank. I also made a matching strip that goes over the centre of my helmet.
