Could someone school me on the manual clutch?

Been building here for a while and am plotting another build ( the addiction is real ) My last one uses a 3D manual dry clutch and works great, but they no longer respond to their web site. Searching the inter webs I found THIS: https://www.ebay.com/p/Manual-Clutc...otorized-Bicycles/1933068573?iid=221459347406 Sounds like a possible. What I cant figure out is where the cable goes in and IF the thing could; by hook or crook, be converted to chain final drive. Also; any comments on those who have used a manual Whizzer clutch on durability and or problems would be appreciated.

I found another pic of it with the cable added. I think the

the site is from the same Tiawan manufacturer https://www.ecrater.com/p/22487853/...TfkpAz5H30oHdALT_atP-xa1wQZXaK3hoCLzwQAvD_BwE Judging from what I see here it operates by way of a clutch arm to decompress the clutch. Interesting. Anybody have one of these things?

I'm guessing that that bar across it pushes in the center of the pulley to release it (like on the 2-strokes).

Converting it to chain drive looks like it would be quite a difficult task! :-||

This is the whizzer section. Yep VMB. Thats what I'm thinking the bar is for. Was looking for opinions on its longevity, power holding capability, verify function and ye, chain adaptability. Maybe I'll just buy one and play with it,

I ment pm a couple msrfan has been busy with sick wife, and other things. Things change when you get old.........Curt

Thanks Curt, my wife is doing real well now. I answered Velodrome's PM stating I had no info on those clutches other than I heard they were of poor quality.

It would be cool if you purchase one to evaluate, but the price may be prohibitive. I didn't know 3D clutches are getting scarce. I wish you luck with your project.

That Taiwan based eBay seller has some pretty interesting stuff, his auto clutch and the one you linked to are a step ahead of what I have seen available. Their stiff is more costly, but Taiwan stuff tends to be better than from mainland China. If anyone comes out with a small 2 cylinder V twin, my money is on these people.

I think this kit is a bargain. https://www.ebay.com/itm/138cc-4-st...836146?hash=item33cafbde32:g:puYAAOSw~CRTrXj4
