CLUTCH PROBLEM! Please HELP!

Ok, see if you can help me out. I have been having clutch probs since i got this bike:

My clutch is either stuck in the engaged position or the disengaged position.

-if i loosen the flower nut 1 more notch, the clutch will be stuck in the engaged position
-if i tighten it too much, the clutch will be stuck in the disengaged position.
-I have spent hours testing each notch until it was too tight or too loose, but there is perfect position.
-is there anything guaranteed to work? if there is ill do it

That doesn't make sense... you should be able to adjust the clutch to grab when the hand lever is 'out' & still be able to pull the lever 'in' to disengage the clutch.
Post some pics of what you've done.

You should be able to adjust the cable for fine adjustments...

Here is how I set mine:
With the clutch cable released, remove all slack in the cable.
Lock the clutch with the button, now spin the flower nut by hand until snug against the plate.
Done.
If you still have problems, then you probably have to adjust preload for the primary clutch spring using this method:
