Chinese motor import ban?

I just read on Grubee's website that all of the 2 stroke engines we use on our bikes can no longer be imported to the US until they can meet Certain 2010 EPA standards. Can anyone shed some light on this bummer?

Someone asked about this before and the answer was that it is a ploy that comes out to boost sales. There doesn't seem to be a shortage of them.

Grubee is all about scaring eveyone so they will buy HIS ENGINES!
He even brags on his website about how he blows the whistle on other engine dealers to the EPA!!

Yeah I doubt they'll ever ban these engines. I'm pretty sure they said that the ban would happen in January but looks like that never happened. No ones worried about the emissions from little 2-strokes.

I've been into this hobby since 2006 and have heard this numerous times. It is unfounded.
