Cannonballs Back Into It With A BT 80

So found a likely candidate, a 34cc Briggs 4stroke trimmer engine. Cute little oil in sump flat head. Weighs 8lbs. Not cheap at a 100 bucks but seems to be viable. Will start a thread if I go this way.

BikeBerry has replacement parts for the BT80 in stock now. Are fairly reasonable $$. They have the recoil but don't believe I will bother with it.

Exactly what did you cut off the exhaust? inside flush with the cap or outside flush with the cap?

If you are referring to the stock Bt80 exhaust, I just cut off the muffler where it joined the head pipe.
