Buying off eBay how to tell real 80cc from 49cc?

Any way to visually tell 49cc from 80cc or do you have link to true 80cc kit on eBay?

Whatever you're looking at, it's most likely a '80cc' kit.... There aren't really any sellers who have the 49cc kits anymore (because no one ever buys them).

There have been past reports of some ebay sellers listing 49cc kits & then shipping 80cc kits to get around local laws. (so be careful of this).


To answer your question; You can tell by looking at the head; 49cc engines have smaller heads (but you have to have a little experience to tell the difference).
Another thing to consider is that the picture listed might not be of the actual item.

I actually wanted 49cc cuz i heard its bit more quiet.

I haven't seen them side by side, but here are photos of each, unfortunately not to the same scale.. The studs are 6mm rather than 8mm on the 50cc, and the stud spacing is wider.

Ordered 49cc engine off ebay and received 49cc from look of the head, however they sent me silver one instead of black color. So i have to exchange don't feel like painting it.
