That was always my argument when someone was talking about running for it. No one is faster than a radio wave. When you do run it really ticks them off and a small matter becomes much bigger.

Cops NEVER like it when you refuse them anything! They hate people who won't knuckle under to their perceived authority and fleeing WILL get you a beating when they finally do catch you.

Nice, - I like the idea of electric bikes being used for community police work. Anything which makes the police more accessible to the community at large has to be a good thing.
 
Also means they will eventually be available through city auctions at fractions of retail so builders rejoice!
Anything that lowers the initial cost of going electric is a good thing.
