Bogging down at full throttle

I've had my new bike running for two days and I've noticed if i twist the throttle all the way all at once it bogs down and wants to die. I have an extended intake pipe so should i need to adjust the fuel/air ratio because of that? Or is this normal for breaking it in, it's been so long since i broke in my first bike i don't remember how that went. Thanks for any help.

Does it just 'bog' really hard, or does it completely lose all power when you give it full throttle?

& what gas/oil mix are you using?

It loses power and it bogs even with the clutch in with no load.

if it is OK when given throttle gently, I'd let it run in some more

It is, ill do that then. Hopefully it'll resolve itself after a tank or two.

So as long as i slowly increase the throttle it revs relativly normally. If i try to go more than 1/4 throttle/second it bogs.

Here's a stupid question... Is your choke lever all the way down??

30:1 for the first couple tanks then i usually do 40:1. Yeah choke lever is down lol

The engine might be 4 stroking. Does the sound change at all when it starts to bog down, does it sound like it's firing less frequently?

What color is your spark plug? You could be running too rich.

No it just sounds like im braking the bike with the clutch still engaged. I'll check the plug tomorrow.
