I just purchased another Micargi Mustang!
This one is slightly used and I found it locally via craigslist!

Hello again!
Busy as ever!
Black Betty is doing well!
A lot of trouble-free miles on it now.
I drive it to work once in a while, and it gets too much attention!
Everybody is wanting me to wrench on their contraption, or build them a new one!
Ive built 3 bikes for other customers, in the the past 2 months.
Crazy busy!
Like I mentioned previously, I scored another Micargi Mustang.
This one was used and I found it for sale locally for $200.
Not sure if I will use a china girl, or a 4 stroker?
It will be a winter project, as Im too busy right now with other peoples projects.
I will start a new thread soon!

from experience,
your chain will flop around enough (due to it's length) that it will start chewing into the upper chainstay
I notched the tube and welded in a piece of steel to cover/reinforce the notch
I have almost 70,000 on my Mustang now
Bill, you are correct.
The chain will rub the frame if I fail to keep it adjusted...
However, I do have a chain tensioner on it that does a good job, and once in a while, I need to slide the rear wheel aft, to increase tension.
Ive put a lot of miles on it now, (no way near 70,000!)so the chain adjustments are less often now that the chain has stretched!

Well, according to my GPS, I have exceeded 200 miles!
I think its time to pull the cylinder and do a little porting work!

Looks good I like it. I'm kinda stuck with the kit tank on mine unless I get the seat post keg style one
