The petcock is NOT see through... If you can blow through it?, it's clean. (but it's supposed to have a small screen filter)

Most petcocks have a reserve like motorcycles do, there should be two openings on the petcock with one tube taller than the other.

Not on a CG M/B gas tank. It's only 1/2 gal to begin with.
If a M/B or M/C gas tank is 2 1/2 gal or bigger then it probably has a reserve petcock

Most Modern M/C and Scooters these days have a fuel gauge or a low on gas dash light, instead of a reserve petcock

It all depends on who made it, mine does have a reserve. The little screens are a poor filter, that's why I remove them and run a inline filter.

Looking at the picture you can see markings on the back of the valve, the mold is probably from a moped of small motorcycle design and altered for a mb.

Its not much, mine came with a grubee bt2b kit manufactured in 2010. Its a little larger than the newer tanks, I've only had to use it once for about two blocks.

Mine is closer to 3/4 gallon, the newest tank I have on the little mountain bike is the small style, it's a 2014 I think. It flows more fuel with the handle rotated with the pointer at the tank. I believe these petcocks were refitted for other mc or scooters, if not why does the handle rotate the way it does?
