Big end bearing failure

Sadly pretty common, I've had mine all fail after about 800 miles. They're cheap. Easy to replace though. You can replace them with Japanese bearings and you should be good to go.

any idea what the size of them is? I want to buy an SKF equivalent. I imagine the japanese bearings havent failed yet? Or even they fail after such a short distance?

never heard of a big end bearing failing, wrist pin bearings fail all the time, but the wrist pin bearing is the small end bearing, and the big end bearing can not be replaced, it is some totally odd ball size, plus you have to press the crank apart to do it, if you toast a big end bearing you might as well buy a new crank
