Best source for 8 mm head studs...

It takes a special nut.....to go through all this for a ride....:p

I still can't believe how darn expensive Loctite is!!

Cut (Dremel reinforced disk), filed, installed pretty quick.

I even Loctited (blue) them on the block side. I splurged and bought a spray can of aluminum paint and did the Norman trick, since I was reusing the head gasket. My only snag? That gasket barely, and I mean barely made it on the stud - I should have tried it before it was wet with Al paint :-||:eek: it's like the studs were slightly bigger and the square pattern did not match. But it did not appear to be leaking.

Anyhow - I got my engine power band back - even seems have found some new low end grunt!!
