I pedaled to the auto parts store with a car battery on my cargo rack once. I was amazed at how heavy just one car battery feels on a bike.

What I find funny (irritating?) are those who build a E-bike with SLAs, then complain about E-bikes in general saying they are useless and promptly get out of the hobby.

I will never understand using them in a weight sensitive vehicle like a bike with the lighter battery technology we currently have available.
