My balance stand is simple, a five gallon bucket and a couple pieces of angle, works well.

It's some money... But I think it's worth it.. I want to put a brass plate and bolts under the feet of the stand to insulate the magnetic base from the crank and a proper trueing stand...
The only thing I'm struggling with is Sheldon Browns spoke calculator and spoke washers and nipples... I'm going to have to have them built... With some spare hardware thrown in to get me rolling... Bubble level to balance
