Anyone ever run out of gas?

I went for a ride in the rain today... I forgot to fill up the tank before I left. I was on my way home and was almost home and my engine just sputtered and died. I was pretty upset. When I got home I went to fix it and noticed I had no gas. So relieved right now lol

Almost everyone runs outa gas, at one time or another.

Once I had a twin-engined girlie cruiser.
Each had their factory tank, and shared an auxiliary peanut tank.

The peanut sat midframe, lower than the engines.

Sometimes the front engine drained its tank and had difficulty sucking gas from the aux tank.

So it'd run outa gas, and I "limped home" on the rear engine.

It all depends on what you run out of gas on. If you run out of gas on a china girl then.........Yea, that sucks, because that thing is a beast of burden to pedal home even with the clutch disengaged. On the other hand........if you run out of gas on a friction drive, then all you got to do is pull up the roller and pedal and it is just like a bike.

Stevenn, glad to hear that there is nothing wrong with your bike that some fresh fuel wont fix. It doesn't matter whenever I run out because I have a front hub motor to get me there in any case.
