Thanx for the heads up nice find! I am on my second plastic one now . Not supposed to have beverages at a buddies house , and drive home LOL.

The only thing I dont like is the grips they come with they are hard and hurt your hands on a long ride. They got to go.
I just got lucky when I ordered it, thought the cable would fit the new one but it dont.

Get yourself a set of foam grips all my bikes have then they work great. you can get them off ebay for around $10.00 includes shipping or at bike shops for around the same price.

you can cut off the grip that comes with the throttle with a utility knife but do it carefully or you will cut into the throttle grips tube if you can't get the new grips to stay on use the yellow gorilla snot for weather striping on autos or the spray uhpostry glue.
you can also remove the stock grips with soapy water dripped into the area between the grip and the throttle tube you have to be careful wedge it open with a screwdriver also soaking the throttle grip assembly in warm water to soften up the grip will sometimes make it easier to get the grip off the throttle. there is just some of the ways to geter done.
