Yes, it is and what makes it great is that's back in 1953...

... and Mr Suzuki was trying to get started in the motorcycle market, so for him it was his dream like all of us dream of making/riding really great machines.

Enlarge the pic and check the foot brake and I think it also has simple front and rear suspension!

If I can find his email a friend of mine actually viewed this bike while in Japan at the museum and has more pics!

...same-O pirated, stolen, plagiarized design, with a few different mods or additions/enhancements/confusicators! lol

IMO best design work is when they started mounting the power plant lowest for a btr center of pressure/gravity for improved stability.

I think honda built a similar bike...
probably the musical guys, too.

...which one of the vendors markets a gearcase like that today??? the rectangle one... then a jackshaft and freewheel? :-)
