Has anyone had success fitting a Predator engine on a Huffy Cranbrook?
Do you have pictures?I was trying to decide, and went with the 79cc to be safe. I think its possible for the 212cc to fit, but you need the short head unit, and to modify the motor plate
Did you have to modify the frame? No. And currently out of town. Ill be back to my baby on tuesday and will take some.
What engine mount did you use?Nothing to the frame, i purchased the wider cranks, but thats not a huge issue.
you can put a 212cc on a huffy but you much have 3 hole adapter for rear tire short valve cover and wide cranks put on the rest should be fairly easy as far as mount there is only 2 types of mounting one is flat the other is upright but if your gonna build this ride i hope you weigh at least 200lbsWhat engine mount did you use?
...for sure. There will be MUCH more metal there than before! This is only if the Lifan proves too gutless.Got to be careful as Cranbrook are not the strongest frames to begin with, make sure you do a lot of gussets ..........Curt
...more pix, please? Interesting! That is cool!Predator 79 in a Cranbrook frame View attachment 106146
