this is my new sprocket from Jim at Creative Engineering
what a nicely machined piece of work
(thanks Jim, this is a very cool addition to my bike
)
it is a 72 toother !!!
I will be using it on my new stretch build
I need the huge torque for pulling the trailer up big hills where I live
(the girls are NOT getting smaller
)
1st pic is the 72T beside a stock 44T that comes in most kits
next 2 pics are opposing sides of the sprocket showing that the lightening holes are counter-sunk on both sides
last pic shows mounted on my new HD Husky coaster (12ga spokes)
...to make the chrome coaster match my front drum wheel (black rim), I sanded the rim with 220 wet/dry and taped all 36 spokes, painted with dupli-color satin black engine enamel
