66cc throttle cable fix

One day I twisted by accident the throttle full circle, and thus the cable disconnected from the carborator. I have opened the carborator up, and my question is "how does the cable stay in the carborator.?" I have seen pictures of how the wire goes through the cylinder, but I still don't get how it is supposed to stick?

I'm 100% new at this, I did not build the bike myself, so I am hopeless. Any help would be appreciated on very VERY detailed instructions on how to insert the wire through the carborator :D ty

You more than likely did nothing wrong, it sounds like the lead soldered on end came off the cable. It looks kinda like a split shot use as a fishing weight, look at the link below to see how to repair it.
