66cc throttle cable fix

One day I twisted by accident the throttle full circle, and thus the cable disconnected from the carborator. I have opened the carborator up, and my question is "how does the cable stay in the carborator.?" I have seen pictures of how the wire goes through the cylinder, but I still don't get how it is supposed to stick?

I'm 100% new at this, I did not build the bike myself, so I am hopeless. Any help would be appreciated on very VERY detailed instructions on how to insert the wire through the carborator ty

You more than likely did nothing wrong, it sounds like the lead soldered on end came off the cable.It looks kinda like a split shot use as a fishing weight, look at the link below to see how to repair it.
