63 Schwinn Bobber

Thanks Rick, it makes a person feel good to realize others appreciate their work. I build what inspires me at the moment and hope it comes out like I envisioned at the end. I’ve been rethinking my next build as my arthritis has been getting worse . I believe my next bike will use a variable speed clutch system as I am having more problems gripping with my hands. I still want to incorporate a pedal powered side car on it as well. Hope to get started on it one of these days.

Sidecars rock and so do those who actually build them. I'm not yet in that group but keep talking a good story...one day I hope to put a wheel on a hack and ride. Till then I'm just a fan that blows a lot of air!

Well I decided I didn’t like the rear fender bracket, so I built me a trident out of 1/2” steel tubing and permanently welded it to the rear frame. Fender bolts up through the bottom of the center tube. Gives it the old school chopper look. Always tinkering with something, can’t leave well enough alone !
