48cc huffy big daddy cruiser project

Hey moto bike guys!

Just bought a huffy big daddy cruiser FOR 60 BUCKS! With a 48cc motor attached.
Most of the bike is in good condition. Broken back wheel (missing spokes, warped rim), missing drive chain and a few scratches.
Just got back from the bike shop today! (Very tight budget lol )
Bought a new 26" rim, still peddle brake (have to use clutch when stopping), bought a 410 heavy dutie chain for the engine, a tire pump and basic led lights.

Gonna start the disassembling process now, personal deadline of 11am Sunday, and hopefully everything gose smoothly!

Any tips or suggestions welcome!! Pictures soon.

Hey guys!!

Little bit of a learning here ha! So frist mistake, don't disable the rear rim brake assembly. Smh. Front rim also out of wack.
So I'm gonna take off the gas tank so the bike shop can take a look at it, 410 chain dose not fit the motors sprocket and tension pulley still might need to be replaced with a 3d printed one.

Will shoot for then end of the week, 415 chain is being shipped from Amazon, and with gas tank off might go the full nine. Redress all the wires and upgrade to better ties then plastic zip ties, maybe cable management tubes and little bit of soldering, put it all back togeather and we are back in business!

Check out my Huffy Big Daddy build. Was lots of fun and that bike for the price can’t be beat. Plus ape hangers look killer on the Big Daddy. Have fun.
