Hi everyone. I have a question for all of you. I bought a 212 Predator engine from Harbor Freight, but I don't know for sure if it is the Hemi version or the Non-hemi version. Does anyone know how to tell for sure which it is, without taking the head off of the motor? I think it is the Hemi, but I am not certain.

As stock they make the same power, for a torque build the non hemi is easier to build, but the hemi head can have way better flow for top end builds

Strangely, when I purchased my 212 about 8 months ago, all they had were Hemis, (which is what I wanted), and yesterday, when I looked, all they had were the non-hemis....

The price has jumped way up too, the 79cc is now $139 here.
Damn I had to look it up. Used to pay $127 out the door for a 212 now it’s 150 before tax. We printed way too much money last year. I can show up to work 2 hours late and still have the same low traffic commute... I remember how it used to be. You couldn’t go to some jobs later than 7am or you’d have a seriously long commute. Not at all like that anymore
