Jay Leno's Garage

On this page, Jay Leno checks out some very well finished MBs. I know it goes against our DIY grain a bit, but good work is good work.
I like to imagine the builder saw some of our creations and was inspired.

I really like the sound of the exhaust note with their custom exhaust pipe.

Nice find, amazing exposure for Phantom. Arent those just Felts with a 2G engine kit on them?

4G I think plus a few custom touches like paint, their exhaust, chain tensioner etc

those are nice bikes and every body loves jay. cool he could give him a bump like that. but did i hear right when he pointed to the one jay was on and said $6,000. thats over a $3500 mark up.

i'm clearly not charging enough for my bikes.

That's just good business. Getting on that segment will be a big boost to sales and he has set a high price ceiling

Well, I understand the purpose is to promote something that can be bought, but for "zoot" I'll put my bike up against those....well, the touring model at least.

It's great to see motorized bike publicity! The bikes looked great and performed awesome as well! I like the dual tank idea on the custom cruiser model. That's something I mentioned a while back in the custom tank thread.

What did he say? up to $6,000? made in the USA? Every piece of that bike is made in china. Just like with derringercycles.com, I wonder who buys from these people. People like jay leno buy from these people. Phantom bikes is doing what jay leno did to Conan.
