Moped rear drum brake hubs are what I use because the sprocket is bolted on, the flanges are drilled for large spokes and has a freewheel on the right. They're nice and wide and some sprockets are dished a little and can be reversed or spaced. My Moondog build has that setup and still works great. I'm referring to the more common 2 chain mopeds, as the single chain model has no freewheel.
