Dunno what it's called... Needed it to keep the brake cable from moving
Stripped to raw steel. My mounts were crimping my frame so I welded on some whatchamacallits to fix that :-)
Paint removing with a little stripper, scraper, pressure washer, and sanding sponges
Brakes done. Everything fitted and running great. Stops like a champ too!

Parts used for brake brackets. Split shaft collars bought new for about $60 with shipping from a local shop. The rest is recycled
Where my brake build idea came from (dont know who drew it up but great blueprint!)
