Works great in this configuration. I get a lot of joy out of it. The trigger shifters get in the way of mounting the Staton throttle lever, unless I decide to put it toward the web of my hand. I pedal this bike a lot so I don't know if I want it there. The friction lever is annoying in traffic, but works great for cruising, leaving full use of the grips and triggers to assist the engine with pedaling.
