My latest bgx mods

I've always liked a bare bones bike. I've never owned a bike that had more than a bikini fairing.

LOW and behold it was on the news last night about E bikes, and the laws. I was wondering how long it would take as kids are eveywhere on scooters, mini bikes, and E bikes. So now I expect a big crackdown, i havn't seen mant gas bike lately.............Curt

Darn Kids are causing all of the new legislation to be passed. Most of them I bet aren't even of age to get a drivers license.
 
They will pass a bunch of, "Look what we did to save the children." laws that assures them that they have something to point at when election time comes and they will do nothing to stop the kids but will stifle every ones rights and give the police something to use against every one riding. They won't set the age limit to 16 years though because the kids have rights and angry parent don't vote whoever restricts little A-holes rights to ride.

Bringing them home and handing the parents a $600 ticket is even worse. I saw that with dirt bikes and snowmobiles.

I got my motorcycle license on my birthday in 1968. Right off the bat I was riding illegal because 15 yr olds were restricted to 5 hp, and my s90 had 8 hp. 58 yrs later my eBike has 8 hp, and I'm still riding illegal. I'm not holding my breath waiting on a crackdown lol.
 
This was on the Minneaplos news last night, so will have to wait and see what they come up with. They did state the curant laws, 16 to get a license and the speed, so maybe the will enforce them again. Kind of took me back 70 years ago when I had my Factor Monark I was late16 before I got my license. So doged the police for a year before I got legal. Seems what goes arounf comes around. seems to me How you ride and obay the laws, weather you get picked up or not........Curt
