I have this new Heavy Duty Monark style springer fork for 26" cruiser frames with a 1-1/8" threadless headset.

$150 (free shipping through PayPal), or $130 cash in person in Los Angeles.

This is 100% new & never installed!!! I bought it new for a project that went in a different direction... It has minor 'shelf wear'.

I have heard the point between the fork and springs on the top can snap!

There were some of them that snapped but that was years ago and they weren't this style. If Venice Motor Bikes is selling them you can take it to the bank that they are premium quality and at that price one sweet bargain.

I'll take your word for it. But I am still in the research stage, so I won't be purchasing it right now. Plus I wouldn't be able to add a basket or a headlight in the future.

I've been here since February 2009 and I've seen a lot happen since then good and bad. The maker of the forks that had the problems corrected them but they were not these forks, These forks won't last long at that price. As for springer seats there are a lot of the regular ones on Goggle. Get one from Alibaba if you can wait a month or so for delivery. Click on the companies name and that will tell you how long they have been there and their rating.

I buy from them all the time. Amazon should have sellers but you will pay more. Put a rack on the back and add saddle bags. Lots of them that come from India at a reasonable price.

The one's with the cast head piece like this one that pinches the steer tube is the strongest of the few out there I would have bought it but I already have one of those and one 1" threaded there $230+ shipping last I looked... They fit 180mm tube even the longer ones that are 240mm have the geometry for 180-160mm so they only really fit low rider and huffy felt faker cruzers... BmX frames... With out modifications... Look at frames and forks as a set... Or your going to have steering issues
