Copper/Brass head gaskets

Had a slightly leaking head gasket so I bought 10 in a package on Amazon and will share actual measurements. They are for the “66cc” whatever that really is.
Center to center hole is 1.775 inches which is about 45mm. Bore diameter is 1.925 inches pretty much 49mm and the thickness is .024 inches, .635mm. They are likely some sort of brass as they are not easily bent. I put one on my motor and it seems to be working fine. Now I have 9 left, but buying 10 was less than some with only one. The dimensions in the listing are not exactly correct. Mine is working well.

I’ve bought gaskets in lots of 5 or 10 as well, I got piston rings too. A friend got clutch pads in bulk, 60 total. It seems that a lot of the cost of a single item is the shipping costs.

I've always liked the stock aluminum gaskets... They're soft & crush down as they're torqued & seal any imperfections in the mating surfaces; & they also raise the compression 'slightly' when crushed.

Hi Venice. I heard on you tube that about one millimeter of flat portion of the stock aluminum gasket can migrate from the mating surface to the cylinder bore after being crushed down. In your many years of on the job experience, have you ever encountered this potential problem?

That can happen if you over torque the head bolts; (& it happens real bad if you also re-use old head gaskets).
I've never had it become a problem as far as interfering with the piston.... (If a gasket was ever that damaged, I would simply replace it).
