Yes I am peddling till I'm up to speed way more than I was with the 2 stroke the sprocket is a 44 tooth im fairly certain I weigh 155 and not sure what size I should be running . ThanksYou also have to consider the total weight of the bike with you on it, a larger rear sprocket may be what you need.
Thanks for your response . I am running a cheaper anbul kit and I'm getting my clutches through Amazon but can't recall the brand or seller and I know that's not a smart thing to do I've read some threads about those clutches but I've gotta admit I'm a bit confused as to what and where I should be purchasing them from and I don't recognize the brands I see on Amazon and maybe I shouldn't beings on how I've never dealt with this particular issue before thanks for responding so quickly it really gives me faith that I maybe able to get this project going with some help I do appreciate you all , thanks again ~LonnieAnother factor to consider is all clutches aren't created equally. Since you didn't say what kit you have or where you're getting the clutches from. The springs may be wrong as well.

Yeah I'm not cruising at a slow pace when this thing is engaged I'm flat flying this is way quicker than my 2 strokes ever were that leads me to think it could be the sprocket that I'm running may just be too small but I will miss that speed tho , thanks for your response ~LonnieMaybe the problem is your cruising speed is too low?
If you constantly ride at low speed, the clutch is constantly slipping... Riding at full throttle will make the clutch engage firmly & not slip, (& not wear out quickly).
You may want to consider using a Strumey Archer fixed gear 3 speed IGH as a jackshaft transmission.So I just got a new clutch and case in today and I've got a question the springs are super tight I've seen videos where folks have spread the springs a bit but is that recommended by any of you fine people ? I'll wait for a reply before I tinker with it , thanks ~Lonnie
