Copper shim, oil seal brackets? Mods

Copper wire shim on the right side bearing to keep my crank from drifting to the right ( also allows right side oil seal to be seated deeper in the crank)

Next I made little 'L' shaped brackets with extra steel parts cut with a dremal and Bent to keep the oil seals in on both sides of the crank magneto side as well under the coil

I just hope it starts now that I have 100% no vacuum leaks :)

I've got stainless shims to put in there that come in an index of sizes... Leaving the outboard seals in the bearings the shim covers the seal so a little smear of grease on the shaft for the seal and ultra grey on the sealing surface locks the Vinton double lip seal in place... 123bearings.com has the 27x15x5 and 7seals Vinton is safe for ethanol gas that I don't prefer to run if you're not able to source regular gas
