Hey guys! Some of you might already know me from the other forum, but I found this place and signed up here too.

Here's my current ride, a 1997 Gary Fisher with a Zeda 66cc on a SickBikeParts shift kit. Right now it's a work in progress; the engine grenaded itself a few months ago after a piston pin circlip popped loose, so I'm taking the opportunity to go through and make it exactly the way I want it.

So far I'm really happy with how it's shaping up; it's starting to look more like a purpose built machine and less like something I just slapped together.

Things I highly recommend is:

Road tires. I like Kendra 838's

Tachometer/hour counter this'll give you precise rpm points to shift at.

Bicycle computer is good for speedometer, odometer, trip tracker, time tracker etc. Staying at the posted speed limit.

Adjustable tension suspension seat post. Your body parts will thank you for it.

Cost should be less than $75 using eBay.

Thanks for stopping by. I got most of those handled already, though. The tires on it now are an 80/20 street/dirt style (although I actually have Kenda 838s on my non-motorized bike and they're great), and I scored this neat retro looking moped tach from Treatland.

The seat I just got is a Cloud9 springer seat, so I'm hoping that'll take enough of the edge off. If I still hate life I'll probably look into the suspension post.

Welcome to the forum, I have a similar exhaust on the bike that is my avatar, I used a gutted stock muffler as a silencer. The sound is much quieter and is much like a motorcycle, if you have access to a welder it's a good option.
I'll look into that for sure, thanks!

I have a similar style seat but the adjustable tension suspension seat post takes comfort to a whole new level.
