4 stroke engine question

I just installed a 49cc 4 stroke engine onto an old mtb I picked up. This is my first 4 stroke and I'm wondering how to fill it up with gas. The engine has a dipstick for oil, so does that mean I don't need to make a mixture? Just add oil in the dipstick and gas in the tank?

When starting I turn the choke on and then off once it's started?

The dipstick pumps reg or premium gas in the tank. Sorry!!! LOL
Do you own a car? and how old are you?
Can you drive a stick?

There are a few 4 stroke motors that do add oil to the gas but that is an exception
which would be clearly warned about.

Try full choke and see what happens.
Depends on how cold it is where you are at.
You may need half choke or no choke.
You will need to experiment with your starting procedure.

The dipstick is in the back of the engine under the carb. Are you saying I shouldn't put any oil in the engine? Just fill up the gas tank and start it up? I had a 2 stroke that required a mixture of oil. That's why I'm uncertain with this one.
