Not sure what caused this or how it happened but I don't think this is very usual of an occurance that the clutch bell cuts a perfect circle around the nut/bolt axle to the sprocket on the gear box, is it? What causes it?

The biggest problem I've had is that my centrifugal clutch springs keep breaking and being ground to dust. Causing obscene wear on my clutch & housing. I'm assuming that a piece became lodged between the bell and clutch and cut nearly a perfect circle into the bell? Crazy. Right?

Build is a 26" beach cruiser with a 4 stroke 48cc huasheng 142f motor mounted on it. Nothing but problems with this thing but i'll admit it is likely mostly user error and poorly put together as it's my first build.

I had few problems with my cent clutch on my China girl. My engine had no performance mods, though.

I've seen this on a few of the 'cheap' 4-stroke kits over the years...
Of all the 49cc 4-stroke kits out there, I prefer the 'Ghost Racer' kit that GasBike sells.... I really like it because of the belt drive / clutch setup that it has. (^)

7G right, better then the 4G?..............Curt
Yes... 7G is way better.

It has a few small issues that need to be attended to, like shimming out the clutch so the pulleys are in line with each other & I throw a small tack weld on the small sprocket nut because it always seems to come loose no matter how hard you torque it.

I also always add the 2-stroke carb & manifold to the bikes I build
